Roamer is an Ideal Coding Environment

In 1969 Seymour Papert invented the Turtle –  the world’s first educational robot.  He created it as an extension to the computer language Logo, which he started to develop in the mid-1960s.  Logo is a computer language designed for children.   Papert believed writing computer programs to solve problems, above all maths problems, would promote a better learning environment.  Logo was simple enough for 4-year olds to use but powerful enough to explore ideas like relativity and fractals.  But above all Logo encouraged children to think.  Roamer gives you the chance to use decades of practical classroom experience in meeting today’s education demands.
